After upgrading Enterprise Vault from 11 to 11.0.1 i now get the following error event:

Web Application (WP) : Id 8302: Failed to create a Directory Vault object, reason: The specified procedure could not be found.  (0x8007007f)

The event is created several times a day and when EV services are started.

Any suggestion?

This one has the odor of EVRT.dll version mismatch about it. Any chance that Sql Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and the EV Reporting component are installed on this EV server? Sometimes administrators who upgrade forget to run the reporting portion of the upgrade and so the versions of EVRT.dll don't match between the EV installation folder and the SSRS installation folder. It causes all kinds of weird issues, and what you describe bears some resemblance to those.

If you use the default installation locations, then check on the versions of these files:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS12.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportServer\bin\EVRT.dll

C:\Program Files (x86)\Enterprise Vault\EVRT.dll

(The "MSRS12.MSSQLSERVER" folder might be named differently if you are using a different version of SQL or a non-default instance name.)

Hope that helps.
