i configured file archiving and files are being archived. However when I try to open archived files I get an access denied error. I have given everyone full access to the file archive but I'm wondering if I'm missing something.

Ok, I contacted Symantec and after looking it over they concluded that it was an authentication issue. They had to disable "Basic Authentication" on the EV server.

how do you have it set? off the top of my head i believe that by default, the permissions are based on the NTFS permissions of the folder that the files are archived from.

I found this article http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH61587&profileURL=https%3A%2F%2Fsy... but it didn't help. The vault store partition is stored on a netapp. And how do I have what set?

Ok, I was trying to run the dtrace from the GUI and that wasn't an option it was giving me. I ran it from the command line and attached the log as a txt file.
