(File Missing: C:\..\x86\vc_red.msi ) in EV10.0

hey guys,

i have this environment

- MS Server 2012 R2 (x64)

- SQL Server 2008 

- Enterprise Vault 10.0

- Exchange Server 2013

i hope someone can help me. When i begin to install EV10.0, it shows this error "File missing: c:\..\x86\vc_red.msi". but i found this file in the path, when i run it in the folder, it shows me this error "This installtion package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that is a valid windows installer package".

Any idea??

That's to do with Visual C++ Redistibutable and that type of error message is normally to do with the permissions of the account you are performing the install under not being correct. Are you doing the install as the VSA?

Hi EdLacey, i install it as VSA but the problem is resolved, i just deleted the ISO file and i downloaded it from another link and it works. Thanks..
