File System Archiving: Possible to do folder synchronization?

Hi,

We have a user who has been enabled for file system archiving. The user makes use of offline file synchronization so they have access to their files on their laptop when not connected to the corporate network. Is it possible for this to work with archived files? At the moment it appears to copy the shortcuts to the users profile for offline viewing. Can we get the file recalled and copied? Will we need to remove the bypass limit for admin reg key to get this to work?

We are running EV7.5 SP4. Does EV8 offer any additonal functionality?

There is no additional functionality for this in version 8 as far as I am aware. The problem is Ev is caught between a rock and a hard place.  Ev allows the data to be recalled and potentially you could have so many users doing this the server is overwhelmed with recall requests.  You throttle it and of course you see what you are seeing.
