Fixing Zero Byte files

Is there a method to correcting Zero Byte files on a Compliance Vault Store like HCAP?  I have about 12 Zero Byte files in my system to correct.  Here is an error related to this:

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: Enterprise Vault
Event Category: Storage File Watch
Event ID: 7109
Date:  7/9/2010
Time:  8:50:37 PM
User:  N/A
Computer: WEVA102P
Description:
An invalid saveset was encountered while doing watch file scan. This archive operation will be attempted to be cancelled. Following further information is available.
 Partition Name = EVMBXVaultStore02 Ptn007
 VaultStoreEntryId = 14A27497EBB04D14E9CF4EA8D755257C21210000EVMBX01
 TransactionID = 412AF915BD7A026BC6B25EA9D15895F1
 Invalid Reason = Zero byte file '\\asto109p\fcfs_data\EVvaultStores\EVMBXVaultStore02\EVMBXVaultStore02_Ptn007\2010\06-29\4\12A\412AF915BD7A026BC6B25EA9D15895F1.DVS' found for SavesetIdentity = [17485780]

HCAP won't allow these files to be removed from the WORM mode system.  I was thinking of doing this and using EVSVR to repair the DB.

What other options do I have?

I hope that is not the only answer.  I will need to, at least, get the vault store database cleaned up to ignore Zero byte files - if they can't be deleted.
