How can I vault tapes duplicated outside of the Vault process?

I'm in the midst of duplicating unencrypted NBU backup images to encrypted media. I've beeb running bpduplicate commands manually for this effort, writing to tapes in a volume pool created for this exercise (ENCR_dupes).

Not being too familiar with how vault works, I looked at the Vault policy, which references in the backup selection: "vtlrun Gen_offsite". I then checked the profile, and added the volume pool, ENCR_dupes, to the list of off site pools in the Eject step. However these tapes are not being ejected.

Do I need to change the "Backup started" attribute in the "Choose Backups" tab? That is set to 14 days. The images I am duplicating can be a few years old. Figured I'd ask before I mess up the current vault setup.
