How to count the total number of Place Holder in the file server ?

Hi All,

When performing the File Server migration, how can I estimate the number of place holder in the file server data drive ?

Can anyone please assist me with the SQL Script or anything that can be used to give total number or rough idea how long would it take to copy across over 1 GB link ?

What is the bottle neck of the place holder copy / transfer process ?

the vault store usage report and FSA reporting should give you those figures counts. each environment is going to be different when it comes to how long the process will take. my approach would be to do a chunk, time it, and then extrapolate the timeline for an estimate based on the total amount.
