How to move default location of Reports on EV9.02

AshVulcan
Not applicable

I loaded EV 9.02 on my C drive and the reporting folder C:\Program Files\Enterprise Vault\EVClient just grows and grows, is it possible to either move the folder to the E: drive which has a lot more space or change the entire install to the E: drive.

Was wondering which way would be easier and how to do it

This forum has been so helpful to me and wanted to thank you guys in advance

Did someone enable the Full level for client trace?

Open Outlook on the client.
Hold the Ctrl+Shift keys and click on any of the EV icons.
This will launch the EV Diagnostics window.
Set the Trace level to Errors only
Click OK.
Click OK.
Close Outlook.
Reopen Outlook.

Hi,

What reporting are you refering to? I don't remember any reporting with the EV client install? Can you let us now more info please? e.g. what file is growing specifically?

If it is the client trace that is causing the issue then it does not matter what drive you install it on as the client trace is written to the temp location of your profile (%temp%). Either turn the client trace to minimum as Tony has suggested or move your the profile temp location to another drive.
