How to remove archive permissions inherited from Exchange mailbox?

Gogeta

Here's the scenario:  User A has given User B permission to his Exchange mailbox, as a result User B can also see User A's archive in Archive Explorer.  Now, User A is retired, his AD account and Exchange mailbox deleted.  User B can still access User A's archive.  How do we revoke User B's access to User A's archive.  Obviously, changing mailbox permission and re-synchronize is not an option.

In the EV admin console, select the archive, go to permissions and set "Deny" for user B.

WITSend is correct.  The manually set Deny will override the Automatically set Allow.  Be sure to synchronize User B after you make the change.

I am guessing you are not able to use the admin console. you will have to use EVPM to remove the permission.
