How to restore a emails in the retention period

My EV server is configured to hold the deleted archive emails for 30 days.

If a user delete a short cut, the configuration is set to delete both the shortcut and the archived email from vault.

I dont find an option to recover a deleted archive email from the 30 day retention. Please help me on how to recover the deleted archied email.

Have a look at the properties of the Site object in the VAC.  You should see the option to retain deleted items.

Then an admin can recover the items which are deleted from the properties of the archive.

(I think.. sorry not in front of a console right this second)

So end user dont have an option to restore the deleted archived emails, even if there is a configuration to retain the deleted item...

Can I know how an admin can recover it.

Correct - end user can't do it.

Admin does it by going to the properties of the Archive in the VAC.

Open the VAC, and navigate as shown below:

Right click ont he archive, go to properties. 

Click the Deleted items tab, as shown in the screenshot in the previous post.
