How to reverse an archive deleted to available

Hi All

EV 12 sp4, I have a customer who has deleted some mailbox archives and they cannot be deleted due to a number of reasons. I need to reverse this and I am looking for the best way to do this, I have found an article from the days of the Symantec KB called " How to change an Archive's status from "Marked for deletion" to "Available" for an archive that will not delete" .

I am not sure if this is still valid so any feedback will be appreciated

That should still be valid.

You just need to change the ArchiveStatus value from 4 (marked for deletion) back to 1 (open). Easiest place to do this is in EnterpriseVaultDirectory.dbo.ArchiveView.
