I wolud therefore appriciate any links or help to solve this challenge!

They are just processed as regular mailboxes. Mailbox rights are synchronized to Enterprise Vault automatically.

My shared mailboxes are connected to their individual AD users which are disabled,

unlike a regular mailbox which are connected to an enabled and active/logged on AD user.

Usually we make the owner on an regular mailboks member of an AD group targeted through the provisioning group and policies on our EV server. And the archiving process starts automatic.

Is this also applicable to shared maiboxes then?

Their assosiated AD account, are as earlier stated disabled an never logged on....
