Hi

On my server with EV 12.3.2 and Windows 2012 two errors are appearing in the event viewer:

Event 41380:

Index volume agent failed to start due to time out.

Index Volume ID: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Error: Timed out waiting for [Agent Thread for XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX] to start after [1800] seconds.

Event 41352:

The processing of the Index Volume has stopped following errors.

Archive name: YYYYYYYYY
Task: <none>
Index Volume ID: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Reason: <none>
Error Type: NonCritical

Description: Timed out waiting for [Agent Thread for XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX] to start after [1800] seconds.

Is it possible that this index is corrupt?

Thanks and regards.

Hello,

I had the 41380 months ago. After extensive checking, I found that the registry key NumWordsToWrite was set in the registry. I had that under ..KVS\Enterprise Vault\Indexing

The 41352 can have multiple causes. Check KB, search for the 41352 and see which one applies.

Regards. Gertjan
