Individual archive technical limits

Wondering if anyone knows of a technical limit to the size and/or number of items in an individual archive. For example, I have come across an individual archive that is 44GB in size with 787,000 items. Is there any cause for concern? Should it be disabled and a new one created at this point?

There is no real limit here.
EV is able to scale very well.

A Journal Archive is nothing else than a "normal" archive in a technical way, and they grow to hundrets of gigabytes with millions of items.

This is an archive for a regular mailbox, not journal. Does it make a difference?

Hi,

No it doesn't matter what type of archive it is.  Effectively it can get as big as you want.
