Integrated Search Fails

Hi Guys,

Recently I have migrated Hardware to Windows 2012 from Windows 2008 in version 11.0.1 HF4.  All works fines archiving, retrieval, standard Search (/enterprisevault) except integrated search in both notes client and console (search archive) of all 4 EVservers.

The error message is an popup "Your search request failed because an Enterprise Vault service was not available".

No events are logged.

What errors do you see in the event viewer on the EV server?

Thanks for reply.

Yes, I have reviewed the technote.   Attach error when performing a search.

Any error are logged in EventV.

Hi Daniel,

In my opinion, there is an issue with the indexing engine.

1. Try recreating the repository.xml by following the steps here: http://www.veritas.com/docs/000064598

2. If the problem persists, reset EV indexing engine by following the steps here: http://www.veritas.com/docs/000064703

Wait until the index metadata sync is complete and the indexing service is fully up and functional, then test the search again.

One of the above steps should solve the problem.

Currently the issue is being reviewed by the team support.  I will post the solution when i have it.
