Anyone have experience setting up Exchange 2010 archiving with a BIG-IP LTM in the mix?
http://www.f5.com/products/big-ip/local-traffic-manager.html
The current environment I'm working in uses this appliance to load balance connections to their CAS servers. Targeting the mailbox servers went fine, but the mailbox archiving tasks fail with 2256 and 3305 errros.
The workaround we're using now is to use hosts file entries to bypass the load balancer, but would rather not keep it that way.
The network admins aren't aware of anything on the load balancer that would throttle or block MAPI connections from the EV servers, but I suspect that the way EV interacts with Exchange may be interpreted as an attack.
I would imagine that this type of setup would be pretty common with larger Exchange 2010 environments and am hoping that someone here might have experienced this and have some suggestions for a fix.

SHI-CRO, what did you end up doing to address this?
