Journal archive search for end users

I am looking for a solution to allow end users to search journal archives.Searches would have to be restricted to messages sent/received by them.

Is there a way to do this within the EV product? Or does anyone know of a good 3rd party appliction/add-on that would allow this?

i've heard of a 3rd party tool for this by Vault Solutions but i havent evaluated it myself. have a look at http://www.vault-solutions.com/Products/enterprise-vault-end-user-search-and-restore.html

vault solutions is the only one i've heard of that offers this for EV. have you looked at EV.cloud? it actually works exactly this way by design. might be interesting for you/your company depending on your requirements.
