License file does not update

Dear Experts,

Its EV 10.0.1 installed on windows 2008 R2 standard. One of the eval license expired for the customer. We are trying to replace it with a new one. I have followed the correct practice by placing the license file under c:\prorgam files(x86)\enterprise vault\

It is not logging any information in the event viewer for installed license information. Where should I be looking to get information about license if vault admin is picking it up.

Regards,

The \Installed Licenses directory is reference only
You need to look at C:\ProgramData\Symantec Shared\Licenses

Did you restart the EV Admin service after placing the license file in the EV directory ?

Try this

1) Take backup of existing license file which is in %Install Dir%\Installed License

2) Delete files from above location

3) Copy the new license file in %Install Dir%

4) Restart Admin Service

5) Check if the license file is copied to above location in step 1

If did not work out then get DTRACE of Admin Service.
