Hi,
if we decide not to replace an archived item wit a shortcut - so the original item will stay in the mailbox. Is there the possibility that the content of the mailbox (folder structure, place of the items) is synchronized with the archive anyhow.
Regards
Jakob

Hi Jakob,
This is how we are archiving and I'm sorry to tell you that the structure you get is the one of the archiving time of the item, if you change it it is not changed in archive as EV as no way to know it. But the positive point is that the structure is less important with the new seach engine.
Perhaps there woulbd be a way to do it but by default the answer is NO.

Sandrine is right. If archived items are moved in the mailbox, that will only reflect in the archive if the item in the mailbox is a shortcut. As it is not a shortcut, EV cannot 'see' if a shortcut is moved, it only sees an IPM.Note being moved. EV will not action that.
*edit* If you would give your users Vault Cache and Virtual Vault, you can configure that so users can rearrange items in the archive themselves.

Hi Sandrine and Gertjan
thank you both for the fast answers. We will see how we deal with this requirement.
