I've read quite a few articles about migration from other solutions into EV, including exporting to PST, and importing back into EV, and the use of third-party apps to migrate to EV.
Has anyone migrated from MessageOne to EV?
We are looking for an idea of how long the process may take us. We have around 400 users, 1.6TB in storage, and total aggregate is 2.3TB.
Any info is helpful.
Thanks, Jess

I've done lots of migrations on the EV side. Generally you can expect to ingest 4-6GB per hour with PSTs per EV server (8-12core/24-32GB RAM). How long it takes to export out of MessageLabs and whether MessageLabs can export to PST will also need to be evaluated.

Does that still hold true if migrating to EV.cloud?

I have not worked with EV.cloud. I suspect you'd have to deliver the PSTs to them on a hard drive and I have no idea what their ingest rate might be.

That's how it works with EV.Cloud, yes. The migration rate is relatively quick once they get the PST's, although I don't recall precisely how fast it is.

Thanks, I was able to reach their EV.cloud support directly.

Keep in mind that not every PST is the same.
Depending on how many Items there are in the PST it could take a considerable amount longer to migrate the PST.
Internetconnections can be the bottleneck here.
