We are using EV 8 sp4.
I have just successfully migrated (client-driven) 2 pst files for a user. They successfully migrated and are visible in the Vault Explorer but I cannot see the folders for these emails in the normal Outlook 2007 folder list.
Does anyone know what could be causing this? is it just a setting?
This is correct. You have migrated the pst files into Enterprise Vault so what were you expecting to see in Outlook?
The only time you will see anything in Outlook is if you chose to create shortcuts and specified where these shortcuts should be created.
This is done in the PST Migration Policy on the shortcut creation tab
