MigratorServer.exe

What all does the MigratorServer.exe process do?  I have a EV server that has 10 of these processes running, not heavily, but they're managing to hammer an 8 CPU SQL at 80%.

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with Virtual Vault/Vault Cache, but it never seems to catchup or simmer down.  Are there other processes that this program is responsible for?

Hi Korbyn,

As you suspect MigratorServer.exe does various tasks such as building content cache for Vault Cache / Virtual Vault. Are you seeing any errors in the event log related to it?

In the VAC on the properties of your EV server on the Cache tab you can change the number of Vault Cache concurrent updates. The default is 10, max is 50. Restart the EV services for the changes to take affect.

Thanks.  that did the trick.  It's a badly corrupted DB, and there are thousands of error messages.  We had disabled Vault Cache and Virtual Vault, yet it was still processing like crazy.  Users haven't had access for several month now anyway, turning to 0 has effectively shut it off and allow the SQL server to breath again.
