Hello everyone,
I've already searched for this but did not find a suitable information. Lets assume users are only working in Virtual Vault, creating folders, moving items and so on. What if a user wants to give another user access to a folder created within the Virtual Vault that is NOT present in the mailbox. My tests so far showed that when creating a folder in VV for example ...\Inbox\VVTest , the folder will get the permissions that are set on \Inbox at the time of creation of ...\VVTest and that these permissions won't change in the future no matter if you modify permissions for \Inbox or if you activate "inherited permissions".
Is this by design or just an issue in my lab?
As always thanks and kind regards
Marc

It's a requirement to work with the user archives that are already in place. We simply wanted to check ways to grant other users access to VV structures and I came across that behavior.
