Hi,
I'm hoping someone will be able to reassure me that i'm doing everything right with our upgrade as i've never done this before.
We are upgrading from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007 and we are running EV8. We will be moving all mailboxes from 2003 over to 2007 and i will need to ensure all users can still access their archived emails and contiune to archive. We are also have a journaling mailbox as well on 2003 which we will need to enable on 2007
1. Run the Symantec PowerShell script allow the EV service account access on the Exchange 2007 maiboxes (http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH138606)
2. Within EV, add a new target server (under Targets > Exchange > (domain) > Exchange Server) which is the new Exchange 2007 server. Configure the server with the EV account located on that server
3. Create a new Mailbox Archiving Task with the same account located on the new server
4. Create a new Journaling Archiving Task with the same account located on the new server
5. Resync all mailboxes
The above all seems to simple. I feel like i'm forgetting something really simple. Is what i'm doing above correct?
Cheers...

I notice that you are also using the journaling feature. I highly recommend reading the following article regarding a mixed Exchange 2003/3007 environment before you continue your project.
