We are working now for one year with EntVault 2007. Can anyone tell me when the next version will be released?

the EV 2008 codename Bauer is presently in Beta testing. The Beta will end in the next week or two. I believe the release is planned mid Q1 2008

We just purchased licenses for EV 2007 and have been reviewing the documentation and getting the insfrastructure for it built, knowing that a new version was on the horizon.  Is it worth waiting for the upgrade and starting with the new version and not have to deal with upgrade headaches, or just dive in with the current version and ugrade to the new version at a point release?

It's definitely worth to wait until the next version gets out.

That's because the storage model has been "redisigned", and you will get benefits of this new model only when the data will be archived in it.

However, you would be able to take advantage of it, too, even if you upgrade, but then, only for "new" data written.
