Not safe for collection

I am trying to get the collection process to work on our evault 6.0 but when I dtrace it I get the following for each and every file:

45280    16:08:44.674     [2708]    (StorageFileWatch)    <3380>    EV:M    The Collector for Partition 1AEB7EBAB85C48D478BADEF7AD13C977E1q10000ev60.vivisimo2003.vmserver.vivisimo.com determined the file C:\Enterprise Vault Stores\vaultstore0 Ptn1\2007\06\28\13\344000000000000~200706281325400000~0.DVS as not safe for Collection

How does ev decide what is and what is not safe for collection?

Have you backed up the Vault Store partition?

In this case C:\Enterprise Vault Stores\vaultstore0 Ptn1.  If the archive bit is not removed the file is not collected.

I did not know that. I sent EV support an email to see if they can create a tech note as I could not fine one.

I think normally this would not be an issue as most folks would not let the partitions go without being backed up.  :)
