Open Vaulted email issue (Outlook 2003 / EV 7.5 SP4)

Hi --

We are experiencing issue with vault emails very often the vault mails not accessible.

We have delete following DAT files and issue got resolved.

\Documents and Settings\UserName\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Forms\Frmcache.dat

Documents and Settings\UserName\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows\Usrclass.dat

if anyone have permanent  solution please help me.

Please run ResetEVClient.exe and let us know if the problem persists. 
  • Close Outlook
  • Run :\Program Files\Enterprise Vault\EVClient\ResetEVClient.exe

Sridhar,

Then turn on maximum logging close outlook, reopen outlook.  Reproduce the issue and past the client trace.

It is impossible to say anything without and logging or more information. Include screen-shots if you can too.
