Outlook 2007 Cached Mode

We are currently running Outlook 2007 in Cached Mode. We are also using EV 10.

My question is: 1) Does it make a difference if clients use Cached Mode or not? and 2) on the EV Server, I want to run Mailbox Analysis tool (https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/mailbox-analysis-tool) which requires for Cached mode to be disabled. Will this cause any impact if I turn it off?

Thanks.

On the EV server it will not make a difference if Cache Mode is enabled or not.

As for your clients, no, not as far as EV is concerned.  The only thing would be if you are using Vault Cache, by default EV is set to look for the OST

On the clients, we are using Vault Cache. So having this enabled should be fine. Correct?

Yes, leave Outlook Cached mode enabled.

It's worth making a note that if you use a GPO to force cached mode, the EV server should be made exempt from that.  There are issues with things like EVPM if cache mode is forced.
