Just wondering if anyone knows where the config for user archive groups in Outlook are stored? We have a user who has managed to remove their default EMAIL one without having another group with an archive so now it comes up as no access to archives. Presumably there is an option to reset to default?
As far as I recall, that is based on which permission a user has on which archives. Those permissions are set by (usually) getting them from Exchange. A sync of mailboxes (from mailbox archiving task, rightclick, run now, sync) should do the trick. After sync completes, user needs to log out and in of AD again.
There might be an issue in EV itself though. See THIS link, which describes an issue, and provides a solution.
Last attempt might be to manually grant the user his AD account access to archives. Then a 'refresh' should work.
