PST Import same PST twice

FOr one of our clients we have imported a PST file. After importing we noticed that the Deleted Items wher not imported and we needed to do that.

What happens when we import the same PST file again? Wil this result in duplicate items or wil the import deny the items that are already imported.

We are running EV 8.0 SP1 with Exchange 2007

PST migration should have deleted all the imported items from the PST - if not - open it up - delete anything you don't need - just leaving the Deleted Items folder - maybe work off a copy of the PST, so have the original just in case.

So correct me if i am wrong. EV deletes the items it has imported.

If we have not selected to import the deleted items they should remain in the PST. It only has deleted the imported items.

So if we select the same PST file again and select the option to import deleted items it would import those items and then delete them form the PST?

Yes depending on a few things, like if you created shortcuts etc.  But the best way to tell is to open the PST up and check.
