PST Migrator task fails with EventID 6609 - Access is Denied

Hi EV Experts,

Whilst most of our PSTs migrate to EV without a problem, I have a number of PST files that fail to migrate using PST Migrator. They fail with EventID 6609 - Access is Denied.

I have searched these forums and wider afield and have checked all the common solutions, i.e. PST and mailbox permissions, migrating via mapped drives, etc. All of the suggestions from the forums appear to already have been met, but still the problem persists.

We are running EV 2007 (v7.5) and Exchange 2003. 

Can anyone please suggest anyother way of resolving the 6609 Access is Denied problem?

This sounds like an NTFS file permissions error. can you access the PST's from the EV Server when logged in as the account which migrates PST's.

This should be the Vault Service Account, however it could be specified as a different account on the tasks.

Try and open the failing PST's in Outlook also to fully insure the account can work with the PST's in question.

I'm guessing the permissions on the files themselves my be incorrect.
