PST import failures

Hi,

We have EV10.0.1 on 2008 R2.

We are trying to migrate PSTs in for users who were on an external domain/exchnage. They have been migrated in to our Exchange 2010 environment and have mailboxes and Vault archives.

Some of the users have gone through without issue (we have had the odd fail all the time, 1 in 10 PSTs), but now they all seem to fail, the last 20+ - could be coincidence though.

Looking at one user, it reports that the failure was because of the PST migration policy... but it doesn't shy why exactly.

(Migration Report in 1st post)

Any ideas please?

Thanks - James

This line is relevant - "Items moved to mailbox: 614 (of 614)"

Have you taken a look at one of the mailboxes to see which items were copied into the mailbox rather than having shortcuts created (this this is enabled)?

Take a look at the message class of the items - they may not be covered by the archiving policy assigned to the mailbox.

Migration Error txt file attached. Was going to paste it in here but paste function is still not supported with IE11...

A PST containing only Deleted Items folder and an archiving policy is set to not archive Deleted Items?

Nope, we do use Deleted items too.

Would it report as a failure if it was unable to update shortcuts in the mailbox if it was unable to do that?
