PST import to EV 11 archive not working

I seem to be having a problem importing pst data into EV 11. Here is the situation: I exported a user's inbox from archive with the "Remove exported items from archive" option checked. Now I need to import the items back into inbox. When I run the import nothing is imported and no errors. I tested with my onw archive and had the same issue.

Are you importing the PST back into the archive, or back into the mailbox?

You should at least have a logfile of the import (usually under ..\enterprise vault\reports folder), which shows what has been done. If the import in the archive did not do anything, the PST should be the same size. Is it? Or is it shrunk to 265 bits? This would imply items are put in the archive again. Perhaps in the PST policy, you have a specific folder defined to be used when importing? (like .Archive, or 'Imported PST')

If you imported into the archive again, you might need to do a verify on the index of that archive. Perhaps the items are not yet indexed, meaning they won't show into AE or Search.
