Placeholder Migration Question...

Hello,

I am currently working on a project to migrate placeholders from a 2003 file server to 2012 file server.  I need to test place holder migration on a few folders to verify it's working correctly, them move them back to the original location before doing a full migration.  Is this possible to do?

Thanks for feedback, however I don't see anything in the article that expressly says I can move placeholders back and forth between servers.  Is this a on-way thing?  I want tio run a test migration of a few existing folders, verify functionality and migrate them back.  Also, FYI, I have copied the unarchived files/folder structure to the new server filtering out placeholders of course.
