Prevent item conversion for only one file target

Hi,

we have one file target in EV which is filled up with very large pdf files (larger than 500 MB).
The result of this big pdf-file conversion is, that the conversion process stopps with a warning after the 10 min timeout. This only takes time und cpu power and extends the archiverun for this archive.
Now i want to prevent EV from doing item conversion only for this archive, but i only get the settings to configure this globally in the Site - Advanced - Content Conversion option.

Is there another setting to configure this option?

Hi there, 

Unfortunately, there is no option to configure the file conversion at an archive or more granular level. You could reduce the timeout interval to 5 mins or so and this may help to a certain extent.

Hi,

thanks for your reply. Now i´ve opened a case. 
If there is no solution for my problem, i create a new second site. So I can configure this site without item conversion and archive the file-target in the new site.
