Problem Copying files Enterprise vault.

Hi can someone help,

Using EV Version 8.0.

HP Disk array is filling up.

Items over 1 year old archived.

Used Microsoft Rich copy to copy files to Dell Equallogic SAN.

Files were retrieved from vault filling up HP disk array and creating placeholders on Equallogic.

Copy failed when source disk was full.

Now I have a full HP disk array and a Equallogic with Shortcuts on it.

Retrieved Items over 1 year old on HP array will no longer archive as there is aready a place holder for them on the Equallogic.  

I don't want to move the files, just make copies of them on the dell.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Barry,

I think you have a couple of options. You could create a new Vault Store Partition on the Equallogic SAN or you could change the VSP location to the Equallogic, remove the old files from the HP array and create a new partition on the HP array for new archived items.
