Problems accessing docs

Hi all,

Many people have added comments to forum posts over the last week or two that they have problems getting to documentation attached to technotes (eg the Compatibility Guide and so on).

If you encounter problems, please add it to this thread, with the following information in it :

Attempted Doc download: (example:  ftp://exftpp.symantec.com/pub/support/products/Exchange_Mailbox_Archiving_Unit/276547.pdf)

Yes, I've got a problem accessing it, as routing seems to be broken somewhere:

So the problem seems to be a missconfigured twtelecom router ;)

Is this still a problem today?

 

I did a traceroute from init7 in Switzerland, : http://www.init7.net/support/traceroute.php?host=exftpp.symantec.com&submit=Traceroute

 

That came back okay.  I tried one or two others, and those that worked, worked (I mean some gave me a 404 page not found when trying to get to the networking tools type of page)

 

And I've downloaded the compatibility guide from the URL given near the top of this post just now (though I'm not sure if that goes TRULY outside Symantec, from inside Symantec)

Still a problem here, yes.

Strange, because Init7 is an upstream provider for Dataway (our provider), and we're going almost the samre route:

Can you contact Dataway and ask them to speak to Init7 ?
