Provisioning Task scheduling

From within the console, the scheduling on the provisioning task only gives the option for scheduling the task to run at the top of the hour.  Does anyone know if there is supported way of adjusting that to the bottom of the hour?

Thanks

Paul

Easiest thing would be to change archiving to start at say 5:15 and have provisioning run at 5.  You have much more flexibility with the Archiving Schedule then with Provisioning.

Is there any particular reason why?  Just trying to understand your use case.

We are in the middle of deployment and our archiving tasks kick off at 5pm.  I would llike to try and move the provisioning as close as possible to the 5pm task to give our team more time at the end of the day to populate the global groups.

you may also want to time how long it takes the provisioning task to run as well
But really what you'd want is Provisioning Task -> Synchronize Mailboxes and THEN archiving

plus take in to account whether EVPM needs to be run against the mailboxes
So for instance if you create special rules for certain folders
like \Inbox <-- archive anything older than 7 days, and apply a retention category
\Calendar <-- set to Do Not Archive

etc etc

If you use EVPM to give rules like that, and then you provision with auto-enable set, and then your archiving task runs, the new users would get auto-enabled, and then archiving task would enable them, but would process all folders using the same retentions and the same policy settings etc, so you might find stuff gets archived with an unintended retention, or stuff gets archived that you didn't want to archive at all etc
