Public Folder: EML attachments are not stripped from shortcut

Hello together,

we have a problem regarding the public folder archiving. EML attachments are not stripped from shortcuts. The message gets archived but the eml attachments have still the same size.

Is this per design because only .eml attachments are not stripped?

Kind regards,

Lucas Häussler

Can you share the version of EV and Exchange?

Re: Public Folder: EML attachments are not stripped from shortcut

Hello Tony,

ev version is 12.5 and the exchange version is 2019 (15.02.0721.002)

Is this a expected behaviour?

Kind regards,

Lucas

I would not think that expected behavior.  It is similar to this issue that was resolved a good while ago: https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100032064

Can you grab a dtrace of the archiving run and see if there are any clues in it?

Hi Tony,

my colleague is ill so here are the lines from dtrace:

Can you give me an feedback regarding the dtrace logs?
