Purging old records in EnterpriseVaultMonitoring database?

Our EnterpriseVaultMonitoring database is huge and I don't see much use for any of the info that's 2-3 years old. I can't seem to find a way to configure the length of time data is retained in the 'History' tables (MailboxMonitoringHistory, TaskMonitoringHistory, etc...). Am I missing something? Does anyone else just delete or truncate the records from these tables manually?

hi Jolaine - yes i believe that's the only way. very similar to the audit database.

it used to be covered here http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH72170 but the link is down. here's a direct link to an older PDF guide. http://www.symantec.com/business/support/resources/sites/BUSINESS/content/live/TECHNICAL_SOLUTION/72000/TECH72170/en_US/TECH72170.pdf

Yes, both Monitoring and Audit should be periodically truncated (manually) :(

I searched around the KB for that info but came up empty handed.

I appreciate the help Andy!
