Question: Moving to Enterprise Vault 10

HI,

I have a quick question on moving to EV 10.

I have a Windows 2003 Server running EV 9.03 and i want to install a new server running Windows 2008 r2 and EV 9.0.4. I want to move archives to the new server using the Move Archive Wizard. Once all archives have been moved over and tested. I want to decommission the 32 bit server. Then do a implace upgrade to EV 10

Question is there a way to designate the new server the Directory Server? Will this scenario work?

sounds like a lot more work than necessary. have you had a look at the server settings migration wizard?
