Basically, the Vault Store Group is a SQL database that forms the outer boundary of Single Instance. It holds the fingerprint information for the archived items. A Vault Store is a SQL database that holds the information about the archived items. A VS Partition if the physical location where the archived items are stored.

Dinesh, I think its better if you go through proper EV training to understand EV terms and concepts, Symantec does provide training for partners and there are videos as well on many features of the product.
