Queue does not exist ?

Hi everyone,

I have an issue with our Enterprise vault 11.

It's a new deployment, with 2 Exchange 2013 servers.

I wanted to activate the journaling on the server, i followed the User Guide to do it... and then :

And i'm stuck...

I'm logged using a service account dedicated to Enterprise Vault (Local admin of the server), the journaling task is using a specific account / mailbox located on the server 1 where is the journaling mailbox.

All the mailboxes aren't hidden.

Prerequisite have been verified (Outlook is working, scripts have been executed)

Also, i have MSMQ queue :

I've recreated the policy, the task, etc... without success.

And a Dtrace give me the same error as the one in the first screenshot.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

you installed msmq in workgroup mode, not AD mode right?

first thing to check is your storage quota for msmq

then check the permissions to the path where you have your msmq

i'd run deployment scanner and make sure everything checks out.

if that doesnt lead you to an issue then remove and reinstall msmq

In addition to that, if you restart the services, do the J1 to J4 queues get created?

I had this with a customer once. He ran EV in a VM. The final solution was to rebuild the VM with the OS and SP's, all updates, then installed the prereqs for EV, verify Deployment scanner is ok, then install EV.

1. Are J1 - J4 queues created when you added Journal archiving task?

2. Are queues on local drive or configured on a clustered drive?

3. Does the msmq physical folder has full rights for evadmin
