Recieving error while creating a new partition for a Vault.

Hey Everyone,

I am trying to create a new partiton on a new vault and am recieving the attached error. The strange thing is that I can access the location of where I want the vault to be stored and there is no data inside the folder and my VSA has full permissions to the volume. Thoughts??

What type of partition are you trying to add?  Network?  NTFS?

Probably should have mentioned this in my orignial post... Apologies, I am trying to create a partition for a NetApp volume.

Hi, This has been seen with a permission inheritance issue.  Can you add the VSA on the folder with full permissions to see if that resolves the error?

I ended up having to create an actual folder on the share I had created. I am now able to create a partition.
