On Enterprise Vault for Exchange 7.5 SP6, I have deleted several Large Archives. The mailbox Vault and Journal Vault are sperate. I have not seen any reduction in disk space- trying to figure out why??

do you have collections enabled? if yes, the cabs will not be deleted or reorganized to claim the space until the number of items inside falls below a certain threshold.

Do you have a collection enabled? If so, have a look at http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH61090

Andrew,

I do have collections on- I was a bit concerned that was the issue- I have a disk space issue, deleted a bunch of old archives that were no longer needed and I did not reclaim any space- I do not see away to change that behavior- do you (or anyone else) know of a way to alter that behavior.

Thanks
