Removing archive from been shown in archive Explorer

Hi guys

I have a client with FSA and the guy who managed the system before me have run archivepoints create with subfolder switch so I am having a lots of archives been created. Is there a way to remove them from been show with in Archive Explorer and leave only couple of them for which I have created archive points ?

Hi vovagrin,

Check page 230 of the Administrator's Guide (assuming you're running 8SP3). Look for the Managing Archiving Points section. It details how to add, manage and delete archiving points, at which point you can re-create your own.

Pay particular attention to the types of archiving points and how they affect sub-folders.

the question is after removing the archive point will the archive still be displayed in archive explorer or I have to remove the archive ,something that I don't want to do.
