Hello all,

We have an audit database on the SQL-server. Auditing is not used since a long time. It is disabled in The VAC.
Can the database be removed without any side-effects?

Auditing will not be used anymore.

If auditing is no longer used and disabled in the VAC I see no reason why you cant remove the database.

I suggest that unless you get a better answer you can detach the database and restart the EV services and see what happens.

If you have a LAB test it there first but if not detaching it then restarting the services if there is an issue you can always reattach it again

Fairly sure it can be deleted, but suggest you take the steps that Liam suggested.
