Reporting Issues

Hi I'm running EV v8 SP1 and can no longer get into the SIS Reduction Storage reports.... I can see the Details Usage report, but if I try and run the "SIS Reduction per Vault Store" nothing appears on the page and it eventually times out.

Also if I try and access Reports via IE I have similar issues, occasionally I'll get a page saying "Response is not well-formed XML." - but not always

Any ideas?

Hi, do you get any errors in the App event log on the EV server relating to .NET when the issue occurs?

May also want to refer to the following troubleshooting doc.

If possible download a HTTP trace utility named Fiddler and capture the error. In particular what to look at the request and response when the issue occurs.  This is freeware that can be found by typing in google.

This is still an issue but our DBA has gone on leave and I've been shifted onto another project.... EV is running fine, just I have no reporting at the moment.

I now get an error relating to not being able to decrypt the symetric key..... so I have to wait on the DBA to come back.
