Restore data and export to .pst on EV server which didn't connect the AD

Hi all

Our EV server for exchange have some network and hardware issus, so now we want to backup from this server and restore data to new standalone EV server, and then export the archive to the .pst. What data we need to backup? Is it all relate database in SQL, vault store partition and index?

On the other hand, the new EV server is a temporary server only, it will not join domain so cannot contact the DC and exchange server. Do the EV data can restore on this server?

Or can I setup a new domain for this EV server, use same hostname and IP of the original EV server then restore the EV data?

The main purpose of us is backup and resumedata to new EV server, and then export the archived data to the .pst as the existing server failure

you can not install EV on a machine which isnt in a domain.

why not rename the current machine,and do a DR install of EV on to a new machine with the same name?
