Revocation information for the security certificate for this site is not available

Hello all,

one of our environments is using ssl for the communication to EV (Site configuration). We changed the ssl certificate for ev to a new one from a new internal CA. Since then we are getting the error message in the subject when trying to access EVS in Outlook. Next to this users are unable to access archived items until they confirmed the prompt in the subject with "yes" that they want to browse the site.

The clientlog shows the error code from the following technote:

Impossible to contact the web server. Please try again later. Error 0x80072F19

The "solution" mentioned there works but is not desired. We are able to download the crl from the CA correctly. Deleted the local crl cache. The new certificate is valid. There is no error when accessing EVS directly in IE. No proxy in use. EV 12.2 R1.

Any Idea what else we can do?

Thanks and kind regards

Marc

Hi Marc,

This issue may occur if the client is not able to access the Certificate Revocation List Distribution Point of the new certificate that was generated.

Have a look on these articles as well for a few more options to address this:

Hi Virgil,

verified these and many more already. As stated we are able to download the CRL.

Any other idea?

No other idea Mark. If getting a public certificate is not possible, I suggest logging a case with support.

Thanks Virgil. I can imagine that they refer to Microsoft for more details which is probably not feasible.
